Automotive Leather Cleaning Tips: How Do I Clean My Seats?

Cargo Net Pouch

Here’s the deal…Some leather seat top covers have a cargo net storage pouch on the back of them.  These nets are most commonly used in vehicles such as the 1996-1999 Chevy/GMC Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Pickup trucks, as well as the 1997-2000 Ford F250/350, Expedition, and Excursion.  They can also be found in some of the Lincoln Navigators.  The down side to this net pouch is that it tends to get loose and sag after a few years.  We have had a lot of trouble finding this particular cargo net material so that we can sew it on the new leather seat cover.  Our options have been to either sew this pouch in vinyl or carpet.  Just recently we have been in communication with a netting company out of Tennessee who manufactures knotless cargo nets.  We have sent them samples of the netting used for these pouches and are hoping that they will be able to help us out.  If you are needing a new leather seat cover for a seat top that has this net pouch, give us a few weeks and hopefully we will have found a source for this material.
